On August 14, 2025, the most significant change in Israel’s privacy law since its enactment came into effect. Amendment 13 reshapes how every organization, public or private, must handle personal information and brings Israeli law much closer to leading international standards, such as the GDPR. This is no longer a future regulation to prepare for “someday.” The rules are already in force.
