Israel's First Underwater Conference (2022)

In July 2022, hundreds of professionals, officials and others gathered together for the first time to discuss Submarines and UUVs at Israel's first underwater conference, which I was honored to moderate. The main topics that were discussed were technical and design challenges for new-build submarines, project management, operations & maintenance (O&M), crew resource management (CRM), regional and geostrategic implications of submarines, and more.

This unique conference opened up this billion dollar industry to the general public encouraging Israeli innovation and knowledge sharing which to my mind is the real significance here. Thank you to Eyal (Ambaz) Ben-Zion, Professor Shaul Chorev (the head of HMS), Zehavit Meir Salman and the entire team at HMS (and more) for this amazing show!. What a thrill.
